Hi, I'm italian and I've been traveling between Italy and USA a lot recently. Sometimes I can't understand what's wrong with people from USA and food. How is it possible that they are always trying to modify our dishes making them worst?!? I mean they should just surrender to the idea that they aren't able to improve something in cooking! For Example I don't want to think about what they can do and add to a Pizza to really make it disgusting!

Actually what is really sad about McItaly is that it was invented for Italians!! Can't you believe me? Than just go inside an Italian Mc Donald's and watch italians with their happy and noisy children eating there! This is insulting to me. More than Americans, who commonly are not having such a food tradition or education to food, Italians hicks are making possible that crap to exist!

PS for those Americans wanting a quick and safe sandwich here, just get into an "Alimentari", ask for a "Panino" with some Prosciutto di Modena (cheap and good, not too salty); you can add some Provolone cheese to that, or a fresh Mozzarella and if you really need some green in it (we don't usually add vegetables to those kind of sandwiches), as for some Rucola or Rughetta which is a very good and healty vegetable (it's like your weed, just try it and then tell me).
For muslims or people that just can't eat pork meat, ask for Bresaola instead of Prosciutto.

PPS Mortadella, which in US is called Bologna but is way much better, is also a good choice for a quick sandwich.
