I like to stay in cheap local hotels that don't often have good towels, especially in 3rd world countries. Mine works fine, is soft, and dries quickly. They perform the same service that (hated by us Americans) Southwest delivers in the US - keeping the other carriers "honest"; i.e. keeping airfares in check. Perhaps you don't remember being priced out of the leisure air travel market 20 years ago? London-Stockholm return for $1500usd....ring a bell? Ryanair is my favorite Euro-airline.
