Regular Budweiser is an ok beer if you are faced with a choice of Bud and any light beer. There are many good, if not outstanding American beers. Those who classify all American beers under the Budweiser, Coors, Miller genre are missing thousands of beers made by many smaller breweries. Here in Atlanta Sweetwater, for example, makes fine beer and ale. Good American beers and ales can stand up to and exceed most beers from around the world. Germany makes fine beer, but so do other nations. Just don't count us out. Get educated.

I'd be curious who would get voted for Worlds Best Beer. I challenge the people on this website. If people who vote on this website actually knows good beer, America would be #1.

Shocked Britain made it onto the list, I think they produce the best beer in the world. Remember, real ale comes from the UK, beer doesn't get any better than real ale. Most of the world's great styles come from Britain; Pale Ale, IPA, Porter, Stout, Summer Ale etc... Like I said; shocket Britain made it onto this list! However I do understand the other countries being on it.

With the craft beer revolution that kicked off back in the 90's, anyone who would say that the US has the worst beer in the world is clearly clueless about whats happening here. Regionally, throughout most of the US, smaller brewers are churning out a myriad of beer styles other then just plain old pale lager. You can now go to almost any grocery store in this country a buy decent beer. Even Walmart. Now if this poll was about "who has the most beer drinkers with the worst taste in beer?" we might still be in the running for that.

It's clear that most people taking this survey have never tasted Korean beer. Hite makes Bud taste like a fine craft brew.

I agree the US niche and micro brewers are generally outstanding but if 90% of the population drink Bud and the like then the US deserves the title. Majority rules.

Budweiser is no longer an American beer.

American Craft beer will beat out any other countries beer, we just need to work better on getting the word out there, and the bad taste out of everyone's mouth left over from Bud.
